The scene at WatchTime New York 2015
This weekend, WatchTime New York hosts its second annual event for luxury watches at Gotham Hall in New York City. The two-day event is full of events for both timepiece enthusiasts and industry experts, and will feature many new watches making their American debut. It is a great occasion to meet executives at the manufacturers and to see these new watches in person. Friday night is a cocktail party frequented by VIPs, watch collectors, manufacturers and industry experts, allowing guests a first look at the timepieces. On Saturday, there is a full roster of presentations, including Aurel Bacs, Joe Thompson and Paul Boutros on vintage watch collecting, which is not to be missed. We might be partial, but we also recommend seeing Elite Traveler contributor Roberta Naas when she hosts a book signing for her new book, Jewels of Time.
